A couple of years back, the very first app that I purchased from the Play Store was Poweramp Pro. The only reason for me to go pro was the 10 band equalizer and control over the bass booster I got over my music.

If you wish to, you can even create and save your own preset to use it later. The app has some ads, but one can go for the pro version to get additional features and an ad-free experience. The app is good for most of the users who love to have basic control over the music.

2. Equalizer Pro (Free)

Anyways, here too, you can choose from presets and save a custom one.
You can also control bass booster and virtualization in the app. The app looks less polished and also doesn’t have any support for widgets when compared to the former.
