There's no need to place the cursor in the search box — just start typing when Launchpad opens!
If you still can't type in the search box I would suggest re-setting Launchpad to its factors defaults using Terminal. (If you want to try this please do a backup of your important stuff first!) I haven't tried this Terminal command in High Sierra yet, but it worked in Sierra!
I have done two clean installs on the macbook with no change. Spotify desktop app not connecting. Since then I have yet to get it to play at work on the iphone or macbook.
There is a strange problem in my mac. I just updated new release of high sierra. I mean the regular update. After that my safari and app store do not work. They open but I cannot connect any site or etc. Spotify and chrome or other apps that use internet work great. I couldn't find a solution on the internet and wanted to ask. Anyone have an idea?
Recently, several users have raised the question that Apple Music failed to work on their Mac. They have tried to logout and login the account again but it didn't work. Although the Apple Music on their iPhone and iPad worked normally, it failed when tried to play it on Mac, which has driven users crazy. Luckily, we have a method to deal with this. Then if you want to try High Sierra, you can install it. A full install of the macOS removes Java 6, which many CS6 apps rely on to run. Once High Sierra is done installing, reinstall Java 6. Download Java for OS X 2017-001. Another possible issue is that the CS6 apps sometimes need to be reinstalled before. I am seeing the same issue. Login using eval $(aws ecr get-login) has been broken since moving to macOS High Sierra. A login command with temporary password is generated, but fails with exit status 1, out: The user name or passphrase you entered is not correct.
Open the Spotify app on your watch. Go to Settings and select Playback, then Stream on WiFi. Can transfer my spotify music to samsung music app.
Here is the Terminal command:
defaults write com.apple.dock ResetLaunchPad -bool true; killall Dock
Press Enter.
